Andesa offers a comprehensive line of technology and software solutions such as integrated policy administration, plan administration and illustration solutions for brokers and carriers in the life insurance and annuity industries. 

We are seeking a talented individual who strives to follow those values to join our team as a Business Analyst who will be responsible for partnering with other analysts to understand and clarify User Requirements in order to validate system changes.  Requirements will be specific to the client project you are assigned to and will require tight deadlines and turnaround times.  Leadership qualities will be useful as you engage clients towards meeting their requirements and broadening their exposure to our applications and solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Elicitation and documentation of complex business requirements
  • Facilitate meetings for internal and external resources related to business requirements, testing results and/or production issues
  • Initiate and lead training related to Andesa applications for external clients
  • Manages release content for team and coordinate releases with client and internal release management engineers
  • Communicates and escalates any issues to Senior Analyst
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned

 Essential Skills:

  • Understands policy administration, illustration and online enrollment concepts
  • Knowledge of testing, testing methodologies and disciplines
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and corresponding documentation
  • Experience with data warehousing, Crystal Reports and the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Flexible to meet changing needs and demands of internal and external clients
  • Clear, effective oral and written communication skills
  • Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative in completion of work projects
  • Ability to work with limited supervision


  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of business analysis or quality assurance experience
  • Experience with policy administration systems, processes, and procedures a plus
